Development Manager/Logistics and Physical Planning

Oversee logistics and physical planning related to the execution of TeamMS special events (MS Walk, MS 150 Bike Tour, da Vinci Awards). Local travel, some evenings and weekends are required.

Primary responsibilities
Manage and direct work of logistics support staff and volunteers
Develop and manage timelines outlining logistics plans and processes (e.g. venue layout, supply delivery, vendor routing, securing of necessary licenses and permits)
Provide regular updates to event leads on project status
REQUIREMENTS
Some college education (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
2-4 years of relevant work experience, including demonstrated success in logistical/physical planning of special events
Excellent written and oral communications skills
Detail oriented with strong problem-solving skills
Ability to successfully multitask in a fast paced environment
Computer literate (experience with database management and materials development a plus)
Reliable transportation with valid driver’s license is required
