Dependency Case Management Supervisor

We enable families to stay together through our child abuse prevention programs.Job Code: DCMSupPositition Objective: To manage the daily operations of a CHS Dependency Case Management unit which identifies and assesses client and family needs of minors placed in care by DCF due to abuse or neglect by caretakers, with the ultimate goal of permanency; supervise DCM and support staff; coordinate service delivery to ensure that client needs, program goals and contract objectives are effectively met.Essential functions may include: Supervise program staff including regular individual and group staff meetings and case consultation; ensure proper client to staff ratio.
Assign cases to program staff and oversee service delivery
Provide support with in-crisis or problem cases; provide on-going assistance to program staff in coordinating services for clients
Collect, analyze and report data in area of supervision
Provide training to new program staff and on-going training for existing program staff
Liaison to community agencies such as ADM, Dept. of Children and Families, Department of Juvenile Justice, etc. and attend closure or conference staffing
Ensure program staff completes all documentation and reports in a professional and timely manner
Prepare and conduct staff performance evaluations
Participate in grant writing, contract negotiating or re-accreditation preparation
Maintain and generate necessary reports and paperwork in a timely manner
Provide direct case work in the absence of service staff
Conducts face to face interview with clients for development of individual treatment plans, and behavioral assessments and provide other direct treatment services.
Review and approve psychosocial assessments and treatment plans
Ensure that service delivery is performed according to and within the CHS mission, policy/statewide directive/procedural directions/treatment model, COA Standards, contractual requirements, and Florida Administrative Code
Provide the field training, perspective, empowerment and support which enables direct service personnel to deliver the service effectively

REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:
Required: Master’s degree from an accredited school of Social Work, human services or related field
Minimum of two years of experience in the delivery of services in a dependency environment
Must successfully complete (1) the prescribed Child Protection Certification training and examination (2) a considerable period of monitored field practice under close supervision and the associated field case requirement.
Preferred: Child Protection Certification as a supervisor
