Child Care Worker The mission of Valley Youth House is to provide shelter, counseling, prevention and developmental recreation services to troubled young people and their families. In order to strengthen the family and assist youngsters to grow into healthy, responsible and productive adults, prevention and intervention services are also offered. Our vision is to achieve a community of nurturing families which is free of abuse and neglect, and which prepares today’s young people to build tomorrow’s families.

We are currently looking for a qualified applicant to fill the following position:

- Relief Child Care Worker – Part Time

The job duties for this position are the following:

- Direct care and supervision of youth

- Participate in recreational activities and volunteer services of youth

- Assist with ADL skills

REQUIREMENTS


This position requires the following from the applicant:

Criminal and Childline Clearances

High School Diploma

Experience working with at-risk youth
