Join the American Cancer Society as a Community Representative for Pinellas
Unit. Use your leadership skills to mobilize, recruit, develop and manage
community volunteer leaders to implement special events and programs. This
will include securing corporate sponsorship, participants, volunteers and
committee members. Other duties include solicitation of funds from the
corporate sector, cold calling, and management of event budgets. Must be able
to recruit, train, and advise volunteers who serve on special events
committees and task forces; implement special events; and raise funds.


Bachelor's degree required, along with 3+ years of experience in outside
sales, fundraising and/or community organization experience. Excellent
interpersonal skills a must. Local travel and evening work required. Knowledge
of the Pinellas County area strongly preferred. This is a multi-tasking
position that requires great people skills, as well as superior time
management capabilities.
Salary low to mid $30's.
