The YWCA of Metropolitan Dallas is currently accepting applications for Child Care Teachers, responsible for the care and development of children from 6 weeks to 12 years of age, including: • supervision of children • planning and implementation of age-appropriate activities • assisting with homework • providing a loving and nurturing environment • transporting children from local schools • maintaining the health, safety and wellbeing of children in their care Part-Time and Full-Time positions are available with Infants, Pre-Schoolers and School-Age classes. Center locations are Downtown Dallas, Irving, Oak Cliff, Garland and Richardson. REQUIREMENTS
Successful candidates will be at least 21 years of age, have 2 or more years teaching in a licensed child care center with a CDA, or other advanced training. Prefer candidates to have a clear driving record. Experience in a NAEYC accredited environment is also desired.
