Aging Direct Care Professional

Job responsibilities include in-home personal care and other approved support activities for consumers with functional disabilities who need assistance to accomplish daily living tasks. The service consists of those basic and ancillary services that enable eligible consumers to live in their homes and communities rather than in institutions and to carry out functions of daily living, self-care and mobility. Employees will help consumers with hygienic needs such as bathing, eating or feeing (including meal preparation and clean-up), and toileting. Other duties include assisting consumers with shopping, laundry, cleaning, seasonal chores, and transportation. Employees may also be responsible for medication distribution.
REQUIREMENTS
Position requires a high school degree or GED equivalent and valid driver’s license. Employees must be able to maintain adequate and accurate records and must be able to life 50 lbs. A functional automobile and automobile insurance is also required. The hours for this position are 8:30am - 2:30pm and 6:00pm - 10:00pm Monday - Saturday and 8:30am - 2:30 pm Sundays.
