Videographer/Non-Linear Editor/Producer

VisionQuest, a National Youth Services Organization, seeks Videographer/Non-Linear Editor/Producer to work in Tucson, Arizona at our Blue Horse Production location. The person in this position will be responsible for assisting management with the conceptualization of training, promotional, and other video and/or DVD projects and bringing those projects to satisfactory completion through the performance of the duties and responsibilities listed below:
1) Conceptualization to completion of video and/or DVD projects
2) Scripting and/or creating shooting outlines for projects
3) Videotaping and logging necessary footage for projects
4) Edit video projects on non-linear editing system
5) Creation of still and motion graphics as required for projects
6) DVD authoring
7) Output finalized projects to DVD and/or videotape
8) Perform daily tasks necessary for operation of Video/DVD production area

REQUIREMENTS
Self-motivated person must have a minimum 2 years video pre-production, production, post-production experience. College degree a plus.
1) Experience using DV format cameras. HDV camera and still photography experience a plus.
2) Experience using the following software applications on a PowerMac G5 platform is a must: Final Cut Pro 5, DVD Studio Pro 4, Photoshop CS, Microsoft Word, and other Final Cut Studio applications. Familiarity with After Affects 6.5, Boris RED 3.2, and Adobe Illustrator CS a plus.
