The SRA division of McGraw-Hill Education has an immediate opening for a Senior Editor.

This individual will assist in the planning and executing of the math programs. Will work with editorial staff and authors on editing manuscript for content, pedagogical appropriateness, accuracy, readability, grammar, length, and project specifications in a timely manner. Check pages for accuracy and to ensure all corrections are made. Work closely with other editors, designers, production artists to ensure that project specifications and goals are implemented. Meet all intermediate and final schedules.
Job RequirementsThe minimum requirements for this position are as follows: Bachelor's degree required, preferably in mathematics, elementary education or related field. Must have 2 years + editorial experience in the publishing industry plus some teaching experience. Must have strong proficiency in grammar, spelling, and writing skills. Must have excellent time management, organizational, and project management skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Word and Excel is required.
