Our client is seeking a motivated Sales Assistant who will work closely with the advertising sales team to help coordinate and execute all aspects of the sales process. The Sales Assistant will provide account support to the team and perform a range of projects simultaneously to manage existing client relationships and bring new advertisers and interactive agencies onboard. This sales assistant will be able to anticipate needs, have strong work ethic, display attention to detail, and be capable of handling a wide range of duties concurrently. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a variety of areas and have an impact in a fun and growing company. Responsibilities 1. Provide daily support to Sales team. 2. Coordinate an assortment of sales related projects not limited to: proposal generation, managing sales contacts and the database and preparing sales presentation materials. 3. Working with operations to track and optimize account performance.
Supporting ad schedulingRequirements 1+ year(s) experience in a sales support role in online advertising. Candidates with more experience encouraged to apply and will be considered at an advance level
Knowledge of Salesforce.com or other CRM software a plus
General understanding of the internet and interactive advertising; familiarity with online advertising terminology Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel); exposure to sales databases/tools. Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and an affinity for details. Bachelors Degree from a four year college preferred.
