Research Editor

Chain Store Guide is the leading provider of retail information. We are looking for an individual to join our Research team. As a Research Editor you will be responsible for acquiring industry insight that contributes to the development of information based products by analyzing and interpreting customer's information needs across retail & wholesale business operations. Responsible for managing the research gathering process for assigned retail industries for publications within scheduled dates & budgets. Contacting customers via phone & some industry travel is required. Industry expertise will also be acquired by continual reading & monitoring of retail trade publications, news feeds & other industry sources. Working in conjunction with Sales & Marketing Departments in product assessment & development.
REQUIREMENTS
Min. 3 years business exp (preferably in grocery or general retail environment)
MS Word, Excel & database experience
Organizational & presentation skills
Oral & Written communication skills
Information product development experienceBS/BA Degree requiredYOU MUST INCLUDE SALARY REQUIREMENTS IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED
