The Charlotte Observer, a leader in the news and information market, is seeking an experienced leader and sales professional to develop and grow our new, Hispanic publication. This individual will plan and implement budget strategies to achieve goals, coordinate sales plans and editorial content, help organize and participate in sponsored events, and be heavily involved in the Hispanic community in Charlotte.
REQUIREMENTS
All candidates must be bilingual. Other qualifications include a BS in Marketing, Business, Advertising or Communications, with 5+ years in sales and 2+ years management experience in newspaper or magazine related environment. In addition, effective communication skills, strong conceptual and analytical skills, and the ability to strategize business opportunities and analyze market research are needed.
