Production Coordinator

Our client, a global media firm with offices in Midtown has a unique opportunity for an experienced Traffic/Production Coordinator. Freelance To Hire- to $50K. Excellent Benefits (incl. dental)!

Responsibilities include:
·Liaise with ad sales managers and print vendors to provide pricing, schedules and specifications for special ad requests and supplied inserts.
·Obtain internal editorial and postal approvals for special inserts.
·Outsource insert production as needed (to include color approval for off-site press checks).
·Confirm ad files and proofs properly received at each print site with follow up as required.
·Maintain data sources for specifications, costs and samples.
Production reporting
·Prepare weekly and monthly print site reports to include pagination, print order, and exceptional costs.
·Provide assistance on projects as required for Production Manager.
REQUIREMENTS
·Proficiency in Excel, Word and Powerpoint
·Five years (mamxium) digital prepress and print manufacturing experience; ad agency a plus
·Excellent verbal and written communication skills·Numerate, analytical and proactive
·Attention to detail
·Strong organization skills with ability to prioritize
