HOURS: 11:30pm-8:00am .75 shift premium (Sun-Thurs.)DUTIES:
Operates peripheral computing equipment using proper techniques as outlined by the Data Center. Maintain, operate and do problem determination on applicable data processing equipment. Operates computing equipment to create correct information of daily input to computer and to insure all printed outputs are legible and error free. Compiles loads and unloads, inspect and distributes input and output materials according to pre-set schedules. Performs minor maintenance, cleaning and labeling as necessary. Performs clerical functions.QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge of basic computer operation. Requires the ability to communicate orally and in writing correctly and concisely. Requires ability to operate PC's and the ability to understand concepts of entering basic commands to operating systems. Must have excellent knowledge of windows based Microsoft applications which includes Office, Word, Excel and mainframe server scheduling packages. Requires bending, stooping and frequent lifting up to 70 pounds. Requires walking and/or standing for prolonged periods. Must be able to type 25 wpm. Must be able to fulfill one of the following two requirements: Completion of 9 credit hours of Data Processing course at the college level or, possess closely related job equivalent skills through prior experience.Qualifications (listed above) and prior related experience will be given significant weight in the selection process. Special consideration may be given to someone who has prior extensive experience, additional years of college, or extensive related technical knowledge.
