Print Production Supervisor

GENERAL PURPOSE
This position is responsible for supervising all production activities for the Print Shop.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
*Participates in the Planning and Procurement/Scheduling processes of the Print Shop functions
*Responsible for the accurate gathering of data for the reconciliation, reporting and KPI monitoring processes
*Monitors flow of work, planning, coordinating and scheduling employees and/or equipment
*Monitors work in process to assure that it conforms to instructions, production and quality standards, paper use and waste
*Specifies equipment required to optimize and maintain printing operation efficiency
*Responsible to maintain a safe, clean and productive working environment

QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High school diploma or GED

Years of Related Experience: 3 - 5 years related experience

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Basic proficiency in the operation of a personal computer in a windows environment to include the Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook; data entry skills sufficient to enter data into multiple, diverse database fields; arithmetic capabilities sufficient to tally, verify, and check data; basic communication and interpersonal skills; basic supervisory skills; basic organization skills; knowledge of employees and locations preferred; ability to think situations out to do the work efficiently; basic ability to operate other office equipment; knowledge of depot names, location and divisions preferred
