Print Production Manager

The Print Production Manager will assist the Graphics Communications Manager in the management of graphics and graphics related projects though out the design and manufacturing process while acting as a liaison between the end user and the vendor. Should have strong analytical and problem solving skills with ability to manage a project from start to finish. Should be detail-oriented and very organized. Strong verbal and written communications a must. Should be able to persuade or "sell" ideas to others.



Functions:


Works with internal clients to assists in the development of specifications


Works with Supply Chain Management's preferred supplier base


Develops and request bids, quotations and RFP's when required


Reviews estimates and job layouts. Recommends alternative and cost effective manufacturing methods when appropriate


Ensures the vendors cost are in line with SCM's goals and established pricing.


Issues Purchase orders


Compares all documentation to ensure that specifications are correct, i.e., quotations, responses, purchase orders and invoices.


Working knowledge of ARAMARK Corporate standards


Expedite graphics projects from the creative process through manufacturing and distribution.


Utilizes the procedures and process's developed and implemented by the Graphic Communications Manager.


Job Requirements


Minimum of three years of print graphics production or ad agency experience. Must have a thorough understanding of the terminology, materials and processes involved in advertising and graphics production.
