Print Procurement Specialist

A Specialist, Print Procurement under the leadership of the Team Leader, General Procurement will support the process to provide business essential, cost effective, print and promotional material procurement services to GSM as well as all associates and business units in the affiliated Friedkin companies. The Specialist will 1) coordinate and monitor print services (including printing services for publishing, marketing and operational materials), paper, corrugate and promotional material purchasing for the affiliated Friedkin companies in a timely and efficient manner within the parameters of applicable Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) with business unit customers, 2) work closely with production associates and strategic partners throughout the daily order placement and fulfillment processes, 3) perform print and promotional material demand analysis and print supplier performance analysis, including verification of delivery to requested dates, quality, price against contractual agreement and payment terms, 4) identify, capture and report print procurement and promotional material cost savings from cost reductions, cost avoidance and productivity improvement, 5) review and coordinate color match approval from business unit customer, 6)perform press checks as required and 7) leverage Friedkin purchasing power to obtain better pricing and payment terms for print products and services from print suppliers. The Specialist will also take action to enhance cross-functional coordination and expand internal communications within the affiliated Friedkin companies.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; plus five to eight years related experience in print services procurement/print production, promotional material procurement and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
