Print Media Buyer/ Planner

Print Media Buyer/Planner Overview of Position:
Macys West currently has an opening for an experienced Media Planner/Buyer position in our San Francisco office. This position will be responsible for managing our print advertising in some of our top DMAs along with maximizing relationships with our print publications on a daily basis, for contract negotiations and budget planning. Candidates must have at least five years experience buying, planning and negotiating media newspaper experience a plus. Key Accountabilities: Aggressively negotiate pricing and spending volume with print mediums. Manage accounts by monitoring spending, competition and effectiveness of advertising plans. Issue and update insertion orders and be the primary contact for media vendors. Ensure companys sales and profit goals are achieved through the execution of the Print Media strategy. Understand, strategize, and explain the best ways to reach our core customer and target audiences by DMA. Support all media recommendations by providing a POV, ROI and cost analysis. Skills Summary:
