Benefits Manager

The Wisconsin Education Association Council (WEAC), the State affiliate for the National Education Association, is seeking a Manager of Public Relations, Communications and Member Benefits. The individual must hold a bachelor's degree. The successful candidate will be responsible for development, implementation and management of WEAC's public relations, communications and member benefit functions. The Manager supervises a staff of ten. Candidates should have a broad background in public relations and communications, as well as a basic understanding of public sector bargaining, educational issues, and union operations. Candidates should possess strong communication and planning skills.
