PRINT PRESS OPERATOR

A fast-growing internal printing department located in central NJ seeks
press operators who will be responsible for running a Heidelberg 2-color
press and/or a 5-color Sakurai press. We are looking for enthusiastic and
results-oriented individuals to join our team. Press operators will print
single and 4-color process, utilize different varnishes and coatings, and
perform make ready. Other responsibilities include performing routine
machine maintenance, monitoring printed material throughout print runs, and
pulling sheets for quality control. Must be able to work both independently
and on a team.
REQUIREMENTS
5-7 years experience in printing industry running presses. Experience with
Sakurai 5-color press and Heidelberg 2-color press a plus.
Must have knowledge of 4-color process printing. Must have a good eye for
color to ensure accurate color and registration while preparing presses.
Must be able to trouble shoot problems and perform routine machine
maintenance. Knowledge of plate processors, envelope feeders, cutters and
binding equipment a plus. Excellent communication skills a must.
