ONLINE RETAIL SALES REPRESENTATIVE

Achieve monthly and annual online sales goals through selling advertising to and servicing local and regional business, in collaboration with Gannett Wisconsin Newspapers' Retail Outside Sales Representatives and Sales Managers. Develop new business, grow existing business and retain current business through a variety of sales strategies and cooperative selling tactics. Organize and submit online copy, art and layout by deadline, complete accurate online orders, submit client contracts and complete sales reporting in a timely manner. Act as a liaison between clients and the online production department to ensure effective communication. Create spec ads and presentation materials as necessary to close business.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum two years relevant sales experience or equivalent education. Newspaper advertising sales experience a plus. Computer skills with working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, e-mail, internet and database applications. Valid Wisconsin driver’s license and proof of insurance coverage required.
