ADVERTISINGSALES EXECUTIVE

The Argus Leader is looking for a professional sales executive for our retail advertising department. Responsibilities include meeting and exceeding sales goals for multiple products, selling advertising to existing as well as new businesses, and educating and counseling customers about effective advertising. The ability to work professionally in a team structure is required.

This is a full-time position with a weekday work schedule. We offer a base salary with an uncapped commission plan.

The following qualifications lead to success ; Marketing and/or advertising background, excellent communication skills, prior outside sales experience, organizational and time management skills, and a commitment to customers' success. Computer knowledge is a plus. College degree or 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience is required.
