Newscast Director Graphics Operator

The following is a brief description of some of the duties and requirements:

Individual will be responsible for directing newscasts as well as creating graphics for on-air use. This position requires the employee to split their time between directing newscasts and working closely with the art department designing and implementing graphics for the newscasts.
REQUIREMENTS
Special Requirements:

• Minimum of two years of newscast directing experience.
• Ability to lead the technical crew in pre-production as well as live shows.
• Strong design skills necessary.
• Must have excellent spelling skills.
• Ability to organize and work quickly under strict and stressful deadlines.
• Work hours will include mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Experience with Pinnacle Deko and Thunder, Adobe Photoshop, Quantel Paintbox & Still Store, Sony 8000 switcher preferred.
• College degree preferred.
