News Producer

As a Tribune Company business unit, our goal is to inform, educate, and entertain our customers in the ways, places, and at the times they want. At KCPQ, our news image is compelling, insightful - and always relevant. A producer’s job at KCPQ is simple: to increase the target demographic audience for our newscast by producing accurate and entertaining stories that expand on that image. Creatively, you’ll share responsibility for determining the composition and flow of the newscast, selecting video, developing coverage plans for special events, and writing stories.
REQUIREMENTS
