The Multimedia Developer will design, develop and producer interactive
material for a Web Portal. The Multimedia Developer will work closely
with the news Producer to place daily video and audio clips on the web.
The Multimedia Developer will also work on special projects, such as
weekly webcasts to give our company more of a video presence on the
World Wide Web. To that end, the Multimedia Developer must excel in
production for the web, demonstrating knowledge of the latest online
systems and understanding the differences between television and web
production. The Multimedia Developer will also be expected to work
toward a greater video presence on the web that melds with what
television is airing, communicating our goals and achievements to the
web audience.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
The proposed employee is required to possess minimum qualifications of
an undergraduate degree in television Internet multimedia production or
a related area of study, and/or two to five years working as a producer
multimedia developer. The production experience may have been gained
working online directly with video on the web or in the television
industry with significant web experience.
