Develop production, mailing and action calendar, planning guides, media plans and show guide production schedules
Establish advertising campaign calendar and timeline
Establish and execute PR plans and timelines.
Execute mailings within timelines set forth by Group Marketing Director/Group Show Director for planning guides, action plans, etc.??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
Establish for Group Marketing Director/Group Show Director approval, all marketing budgets and manage on an ongoing basis.
Develop for Group Marketing Director/Group Show Director approval, show marketing plan according to established show strategy
Recommend to Group Marketing Director/Group Show Director and execute as approved barters, trade-outs, and partnerships.
Ensure proper and timely execution of association partner agreements and leverage marketing vendors or suppliers to establish best practices and lowest costs
Manage production of all copy, comps, collateral, advertising, direct mail, fax, and email campaigns.
Establish graphic look of show and support brand awareness and consistency--making sure the brand of each show is accurately portrayed and communicated clearly on all marketing pieces and onsite for that calendar year or show cycle, as determined by the Group Marketing Director/Group Show Director
Create and manage sponsorship fulfillment??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????--recommend pricing, concepts, and ideas based on exposure opportunities. Set guidelines and standards for proposals, etc.
Responsible for updates, architecture, organization, and design of web sites. Work directly with Group Marketing Director/Group Show Director e media/ Virginia office on all related websites.
Maintain web site to meet the required four basic elements to serve as a marketing tool, service tool, information tool and sales tool.
Measure and track collateral and marketing results against all campaigns, and use for future planning and analysis.
Acquire, catalog and prioritize all attendee and exhibitor names into a detailed "data library", clean and manage all show lists for marketing purposes.
Manage show attendee reports and necessary data collection /tracking from in-house or outside registration vendor to use for future marketing, PR and research.
Manage attendee and exhibitor questions on registration pieces for use towards marketing, PR and research plans.
Identify data trends and develop for Group Show Director approval approved attendee and exhibitor research
Produce post show wrap up analysis
Recommend and execute VIP retailer/exhibitor programs
Manage internal and external marketing and graphic design resources and staff
Analyze staff / departmental output and recommend / implement staff efficiencies and changes to best produce desired outcomes necessary for success of each show property.
Work directly and seek input and guidance from Group Show Directors and Group Operations Directors for each respective show property.
Other duties as assignedMinimum 7 years direct marketing experience
Minimum 2 years people management experience
Excellent organizational skills
Customer service oriented
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Highly organized and able to handle several projects simultaneously
Budget management and budget planning experience
Able to manage change and flexibility
