Magazine Coordinator

1. Coordinate the production of magazines by:
- Creating dummy layouts and preparing dummy book for Publisher and Printer.
- Processing insertion orders and creating coordination tracking methods.
- Trafficking advertising materials through Sales Team and client interaction .
- Processing ads through in-house departments.
- Reviewing proofs of all pages to insure quality and adherence to job specifications.
- Coordinating mailing of color proofs to printer.
- Checking printersâ?? proofs.
- Proofing repeat ads.
- Processing advertiserâ??s index.

2. Provide Administrative Support to Credit and Finance department by:
- Issuing credit report for approval.
- Running reports for credit and status of ads.
- Processing billing charges.
- Tracking ad insertion rates and cancellations.

Requirements:
- 2 - 4 years print-production experience-preferably magazines.
- Basic printing and vendor management skills.
- Exposure to prepress and bindery operations.
- MS Word/Outlook/Excel & Adobe Acrobat/PDF files.
- Familiarity with magazine layout software.
- Comfortable working with database systems.
- Excellent verbal, written and time-management skills.
- Productive and adaptable in a deadline-driven work environment.
