Editor

AcceleraRomar, a leader in the creation of blended learning solutions for the pharmaceutical and biotech industry, has an immediate need for an Editor. The Editor will work with AcceleraRomar's development team to produce learning solutions that include sound content and are grammatically correct. Responsibilities include editing and proofreading documents for content, grammar, and syntax. This position is located in The Woodlands, TX.
REQUIREMENTS
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Advanced editing and proofreading skills - must be able to independently edit documents

• Strong knowledge of English grammar

• Exceptional organizational skills

• Outstanding communication skills - must be able to communicate effectively with sales team, management, and others, often with little direction

• Commitment to detail and meeting deadlines

• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

• Bachelor's degree in English required (Journalism degree may not be substituted for English)


Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Knowledge of pharmaceutical, medical device, and/or biotechnology sales organizations a plus

• Experience working with medical-related content and/or editing for medical-related audience

• Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven publishing organization
