Job Description:

FLEX Magazine seeks a fulltime Designer, preferably with previous editorial design experience at a consumer magazine. Qualified candidates must be detail-oriented, effective at working with tight deadlines, able to multi-task, be creative and have a very strong typographic sense.

Responsibilities for this position will include:Designing and laying out FOB and BOB sectionsWorking on some featuresWould prefer someone with an interest in bodybuilding and weight training in general as FLEX is the premier magazine about the sport.

REQUIREMENTS
Skills/Qualifications:Must be flexible and a strong team player with ability to work independently.Possess strong oral and written communication skills and work well with others.Proficiency in QuarkXPress and Photoshop required, some experience with Illustrator also preferred.Self-motivated with strong conceptualization and design skills to take projects from concept through completion.Strong attention to detail.Ability to organize time effectively.Work under deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
