Communications Manager
Business Unit: GE Commercial Finance, Real EstateFunction: MarketingResponsibilities: As the Communications Manager with the GE Commercial Real Estate Team, the department focuses on creating and producing advertising, collateral materials, client communications, branding, web sites and public relations. Developing a global advertising plan and managing insertion schedule.
Demonstrating experience managing relationships with outside agencies and contractors (for example: media buyers and publications).
Evaluating new publications and advertising opportunities.
Managing all trade show booth displays, coordinate all pre marketing of shows (including development and production of post cards, e-invites, printed invitations, directory listings, and all other event related communications.)
Developing and producing individual business unit marketing communications including: direct mail, brochures, sales sheets and fact sheets.
Assisting with global public relations initiatives and serve as back up to Director
Managing external design firms and printers.
Tracking of marketing communications initiatives.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: *BA degree
Minimum 5 years experience in corporate or agency communications, preferably in advertising, marketing, public relations or communications
Knowledge in a variety of communications areas including but not limited to print advertising, direct mail, print productions, web-based communication, electronic media and events.
Strong understanding of production elements, timing and budgets.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Manage outside vendors at all levels and adhere to strict time lines.
Project Management experience
Excellent written and verbal communications skillsDesired: * MBA
Strong relationship building skills.
