Communications Coordinator

David Weekley Homes, named one of Fortune Magazine’s

is looking for a Communications Coordinator to join our marketing team.


Job duties include heavy writing (press releases, marketing and advertising material, internet writing, newsletters, etc.) and coordinating with the Corporate Marketing Director, Creative Director and graphic designers. The Communications Coordinator acts as the information hub for the company and serves as the liaison with the outside PR firm, maintains media contacts, and assists with strategic planning within the marketing department. Salary will vary according to experience.


Individual must possess excellent written and oral communication skills, be very organized, and have strong work ethic. Must be enthusiastic, flexible and able to work with all levels of management.

REQUIREMENTS
College degree in Journalism, English, Communications, or Marketing. Some experience preferred. Writing samples demonstrating both creative ability and writing proficiency required. Microsoft Word and Outlook required. Must be Internet proficient. Lotus Notes and Adobe PageMaker experience helpful.
