Communications Associate

Purpose:
Responsibilities:
Execute proactive media relations efforts.

Develop content for the company wide intranet homepage and update the page daily.

Budget, write, take photographs, and desktop publishing of the company newsletter.

Develop and/or design management and executive presentations, including the development of graphics and PowerPoint presentations.

Produce and disseminate internal and external communications material; collaborate on various communications publications.

Write communications plans, memos, videos and speeches as assigned.

Provide staging, logistics, and set-up support for communications events, meetings.

Develop and oversee various employee and employee recognition programs.
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements:

Undergraduate degree required in communications, journalism, public relations, multimedia, or equivalent related experience.
Possess excellent writing, communication, project and event management and interpersonal skills.
Works independently and handle multiple tasks; positive; enthusiastic; energetic and flexible.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Web design software, PowerPoint, publication software (Quark).
