Circulation SupervisorTrader Publishing Company is seeking a highly motivated individual to assist in the supervision of the Circulation operation in Los Angeles and Orange County areas. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the distribution of national, regional and locally produced Trader Publications and ensure that they are delivered in a timely manner. Other responsibilities will include servicing, merchandising and opening new locations to increase circulation and revenue, processing invoices and assisting with special circulation projects as needed. This is a full time position with specific emphasis on Thursday morning delivery hours from 12:00 midnight to 9:00 am.Management and Supervisory responsibilities include but are not limited to: Work well in a team atmosphere Basic computer knowledge Ability to maintain a sufficient support base of employees to ensure timely distribution and delivery of our publications. Oversee the training of assigned employees. Ability to hire, train and supervise a staff of delivery drivers. Provide a liaison with customers and resolve issues of conflict. Ensure that personnel delivering company publications are properly licensed and insured. Must be able to drive and must comply with Company’s Driver Safety Program. Perform accurate inventory of publications. Maintain accurate maps of delivery sites. Establish and maintain effective loss control program of product and waste materials. Ensure that store displays and racks are the proper size and are properly labeled, maintained and cleaned on a regular basis.
