Purpose:
Chicago Tribune Interactive is looking for an Associate Interactive Product Designer to produce and maintain designs for the customer interfaces of the Chicago Tribune's Web sites, chicagotribune.com, metromix.com chicagosports.com and redeye.chicagotribune.com .

The Associate Designer works under the direction of the Interactive Product Designers to design special interactive products and sections using html, photos and graphics. The Associate Designer also assists and advises production staff on the incorporate of graphics, audio and video into the site from outside sources.
REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate has at least one year experience managing the production of Web sites, an understanding of technical issues surrounding Web content creation and maintenance. Qualified candidates have a college degree in and/or equivalent experience in design, journalism, HCI/UE, or writing and editing.
