This person will be responsible for all managerial aspects associated with the Small Format Imaging Services Department including customer service, job scheduling, P&L management and employee management. This is a non-exempt position that will report to the Small Format Imaging Manager. Proven success in using customer service skills in working with external and internal customers and in managing a fast paced small format print environment is required. Knowledge of high speed reprographics equipment such as Xerox Docutechs, 6060’s, IGEN 3 or similar equipment and associated processes is also required. The ideal candidate will be of a caliber to continue to grow into other management opportunities.
The scheduled hours of this position are 4 P.M. – 12 A.M. plus frequent overtime.
REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate will have at least two years of management experience (preferably in a similar industry; an extensive knowledge of small format digital printing (pre-flight, black and white, color and bindery); exceptional customer service skills; proven success working with people, P&L and process management. Requires the ability and willingness to work varied hours including overtime when required; a rotating Saturday shift is necessary. Must be self-directed with good decision making skills and must be able to work and manage within a culturally diverse group of people.
