Assignments Editor

KHCW-TV has an immediate opening for a Full Time Assignments Editor. The Full-Time Assignments Editor report directly to the Assignments Manager. They will be responsible for setting up stories for same day execution as well as the development of stories for future use. They will also be expected to maintain communications with crews in the field and provide them with assistance when necessary. Other duties include beat checks, scanner monitoring, and providing information to producers and editors on story status. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
