ACCOUNT Executive. United Metro Media publishes Job News, an employee recruitment magazine, in 20 cities across the country. We are looking for an account executive who wants to grow with us. We have an exceptional compensation package which includes salary, bonuses, commission and benefits. A first year account executive is expected to make $45k and could earn considerably more. There is no cap on earnings. Our AE's are responsible for selling, coordinating and managing their accounts. We work closely with our graphics department developing and designing ads that work. Most of our sales are closed over the phone but we also make in person sales calls. For the successful rep, there are opportunities in management. Fluency in Spanish is not necessary but is a great asset. Our ideal candidate has experience in Media Sales but we are willing to train motivated sales people. REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate will have 3 years experience preferably in advertising, staffing or intangible sales. Most of our sales activities are over the phone. Therefore, you should be comfortable using the phone. We will consider recent graduates if motivated and articulate. At Job News, we sell and manage recruitment advertising for Human Resource Directors and Hiring Managers throughout South Florida. Because our account executives coordinate the development and design of the advertisements with our graphics department, their creativity and account management skills are essential to our success. The ability to speak and write fluently in Spanish is a terrific asset.
