Weekend Sport Anchor-Editor

Sacramento’s leading Spanish-language TV station is looking for a weekend Sport Anchor Reporter. It is a part time position. Responsible for build the sports segment assignment, look for stories and build the sports rundown. Duties also include the writing of teases/headlines and the ordering of graphics. Should work with vide archive, feeds and the designated equipment. Also should work as production crew during the show. As a photographer this person will record for all the shows.
REQUIREMENTS
Required to work afternoons and evening doing ENG. During the 6am, 6pm and 11pm shows, this person could be used as a studio camera operator, newsroom flash-cam operator, or tape playback operator, etc. Must be able to work flexible hours, nights, weekends, and holidays. Able to work in a variety of environmental conditions and in all the aspects of the newscasts, audio, cameras, tapes, floor, prompter, etc. Required at least two years work experience. BA/BS in journalism/mass communication preferred. Fluency in Spanish and English (oral and written). Knowledge of Microsoft office, newsroom system, communications devices, edit bays, cameras and audio board.
