Web Marketing Manager - Consumer & Commercial Marketing

Department Description: Develops and implements web-based marketing activities to support Marsh CFTs. Functions include all aspects of web marketing including strategy development, budgeting, copy review, landing page design, search marketing, e-mail marketing, cross-linking agreements, web analytics, project management, and online content management.



Purpose of the position: Responsible for the strategy development and overall execution of web marketing initiatives to support the Marsh Consumer and Commercial businesses. Responsible for continuously growing the Marsh revenue generated through the web channel, improving the web marketing process and enhancing the perception of the company's web capabilities.



Job Scope: Interacts with all levels of management, CFTs, clients, carriers, vendors and contractors.



Manages marketing/communications projects.

Oversees the financial analysis of web marketing initiatives - insures that our activities produce the desired financial results.

Interfaces with internal teams to effectively execute all components of the marketing plan for implementation, and monitor marketing project budgets and expenses

Ensures regulatory compliance pertaining to marketing of product.

Provides tactical support in the development of marketing strategy by line of business.

Performs market and competitive research.

Prepares and present marketing presentations, and assist with the development of marketing materials.

May participate in the development of products, lines, and programs.

Specific areas of accountability include:

Search engine marketing

E-mail marketing

Landing page design and implementation

Lead generation and nurturing

Development of the financial models and reporting tools that apply to the web channel

Coordinating the activities of all team members in implementing new initiatives, e.g., web designer, copywriter, IT, plus financial and marketing analysts.

Maintaining all client and line of business web sites (e.g., Proliability.com, PersonalPlans Affinity, etc.)

Web analytics and tracking (direct experience with WebTrends is desirable).

Insuring that all approved web projects are delivered to specifications, including time and budget.

REQUIREMENTS


Bachelor's degree

Marketing Mgr I minimum 5 years experience,

Understanding of profit/loss accountability, market analysis and research.

Skilled in e-marketing techniques, including search marketing, e-mail marketing landing page design, affiliate marketing and web metrics.

Good planning, organizational, interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.

Knowledge of insurance products, functions, and marketing/service policies and procedures.
