Web Designer

We are currently looking for a Web Designer based out of our headquarters in Irvine responsible for the production and maintenance of all of the company’s websites, and other forms of online marketing messages. Duties and responsiblities include, but are not limited to:



Maintains and updates the company’s website and other related websites, working with other in-house and outside resources as necessary
Conceptualizes and develops content, graphics, and programming for websites and other online media, integrating the messaging and look & feel of marketing messages online with other marketing communications to help maintain a consistent brand identity for the company
Uses various graphical software tools and technologies to transform concepts into effective web pages and other online media
Recommends and implements improvements to websites based on close collaboration with management and other website stakeholders
Creates and produces online advertising and broadcast e-mails and manages their delivery and tracking
Assists in search engine optimization
Assists in creating reports on site traffic, e-mail tracking, using web monitoring software; evaluates reports and recommends changes to improve traffic, click through and response rates
Integrates video, animation, still images, text and audio into the graphical design of web pages and other online media
Critiques other designs and solicits feedback on own creative work
Meets with marketing and other staff on projects
Stays abreast of latest online tools and technologies
Assists when necessary on other print, exhibit, multimedia and broadcast design projects as necessary
Receives work assignments and direction from marketing communications director and other marketing managers as needed
Works to develop and understanding of the clinical aspects of dentistry, including procedure types, procedure names, conditions, and the applicable uses of the company’s products
REQUIREMENTS


We are seeking an individual with strong communication skills and the ability to interact constructively with team members; able to manage multiple assignments and tasks while meeting deadlines.



The ideal candidate will have 4-7 years of hands-on web design experience, combining strong graphic design and conceptual skills with experience designing and building websites and other online media. Must be skilled to expert in tools and technologies as Dreamweaver, Flash, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, CSS, and HTML; and working knowledge of PHP is preferred. Bachelor’s degree in Design, Computer Science, User Interface or related discipline is required; a background in the medical or technology industries is a plus.
