Visual Creative Brand Director

Anchor Blue Retail Group, the Home Office for Anchor Blue fashion specialty chain retail clothing stores, has an exciting opening for a Visual Creative Director. The purpose of a Visual Creative Director is to support the company's management and the organization's strategies by developing, directing and implementing the visual presentation and merchandising intiatives for the Anchor Blue brand. The headquarters for this 160-plus store retail chain is located in Ontario, CA.

Responsibilities:

Determine strategic and creative direction for all visual presentation and merchandising initiativesDevelop and oversee merchandising strategies and rollout to ensure effective representation of company objectives and brand personalityMaximize effective communication of visual presentation standards, procedures and product knowledgeEnsure that the Visual team partners with Product Development, Merchandising, Marketing and OperationsAssist in store design development, fixtures and merchandise systemsDevelop a system to measure Visual merchandising effectiveness, monitor and report findings, and make recommendations to increase sales
REQUIREMENTS
At least 5 years experience in a similar Visual Merchandising and Marketing roleBachelor's degree from a 4-year college or universityGood understanding of the fashion retail industryCultivated understanding of fashion, colors, fabric and trendsAnalytical and creativeKnowledge of Project Management softwareKnowledge of Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software
