This position is for an individual contributor who will be responsible for a wide variety of functions supporting database marketing and list processing efforts. This role will support multiple delivery channels or functional specialties as well as special projects as assigned by senior management. The primary focus of the position is contributing to the execution of a group strategy; leveraging in-depth knowledge of various database marketing functional specialties and best practices including gathering/analyzing/managing business requirements for various list processing programs; developing, managing and validating processes; coordinating, training and directing vendor support resources; developing and performing manual & electronic auditing of list processing programs and resulting data; and ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely execution of same.
REQUIREMENTS
B.S. or B.A. in Management Information Systems, Math/Statistics, Computer Science or related field 4-8 years external or 2-5 years internal Citi Cards or other relevant work experience Strong SQL and/or SAS skills Excellent critical thinking skills Expertise in relational database fundamentals Unix or mainframe processing platform experience Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently Ability to conceptualize complex business problems Financial services industry experience preferred
