Trade Show Coordinator - Events
POSITION SUMMARY: Join a fun and talented team who are enjoying one success after another. Interviews begin immediately; position is located in American Fork, Utah. Position offers salary plus fantastic benefits! Shares responsibilities for coordination of all trade show activities, including shipping of all trade show materials, computers and exhibits, exhibit management, event planning, and trade show evaluation and reporting. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Responsible for evaluating the exhibit, material, and computer needs of each trade show in which any of the ten business units at Henry Schein Practice Management Technologies and Services division will exhibit, and making sure all necessary items reach each show on time and in the most economical manner possible.
•Ensures that each event runs smoothly through careful evaluation and planning
•Communicates with sales organizations of each business unit to make sure all needs are met
•Communicates show locations, dates, times, other requirements to all sales organizations
•Tracks, records, and analyzes the performance of each show, submitting trade show evaluation reports and recommendations. Maintains a historical record of each show
•Participates in the creative and promotional planning aspects of all larger, national shows
•Tracks shipped items with the capability of tracing all items when they are not delivered as planned
•Packs and prepares for trade show shipments; inventories and restocks returned items
•Inspects all exhibits for damage and insures their timely repair
•Assists business unit directors and external sales organizations with information
•Maintains a central source of information for every event, readily available for reference. Must be available by phone for emergencies during any given trade show. This position may require the employee to travel to assorted trade shows

•Assists Area Managers, the national Sales Manager, and Independent Resellers whenever event or shipping information is needed
•Maintains a central source of information for every event readily available for reference. May work in the capacity of an administrative assistant to the Marketing Department
•Participates in special projects and performs other duties as required
REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
•High School diploma
•Previous experience and/or knowledge of trade show and event management preferred
•Well organized, capable of planning and managing several events and allocated resources at one time
•Able to negotiate and maintain effective, positive working relationships with various show management, carriers, and labor organizations
•Working knowledge of Excel, Word, and Windows
