Telemarketing Sales Representative

Dow Jones & Co., publisher of The Wall Street Journal, is seeking a Telemarketing Sales Representative for our Classified Advertising department in Irving, TX.

Under direction, this role is accountable for soliciting advertising via telephone for The Wall Street Journal and other Dow Jones publications. Will also develop sales leads and prospects by utilizing sources approved by management and will be required to manage a database. This position requires knowledge of advertising principles, the ability to overcome advertisers’ objections, and a thorough knowledge of telephone sales techniques. May be required to answer and service incoming telephone inquiries and process advertisements in accordance with company guidelines, policies, and mechanical requirements.
REQUIREMENTS
Three or more years of related experience is required. Candidates must have strong communication skills and PC experience. MS Office and database software knowledge a plus. College grad desirable.
