RESPONSIBILITIES:Lead and mentor significant Growth/productivity/cost savings projects. Use standard global Six Sigma program tools & methods while working with functional & regional leaders, and execute high impact projects using Six Sigma methodology that support the businesses and functions. Develop project scope, objectives and metrics that coach, mentor and assist Green Belt project teams and provide input on priorities. Help delivery of training in support of the business training plan and priorities in conjunction with the Company’s data mindset initiative. This is a role with both high visibility and accountability for achieving results.Responsibilities: Provide Six Sigma Black Belt expertise in company-wide Six Sigma deployment; develop and deliver internal Six Sigma training programs; project management/tracking/reporting; and coach Green Belts. The program encompasses using Six Sigma tools in Growth, DFSS, Lean and DMAIC. Drive SKU/Channel/Market profitability through data analysis Assist in planning and managing market research to identify un-met customer needs, competitive analysis, strategic pricing, and product positioning. Assist in leading development work to upgrade internal marketing capabilities, financial projection summary, commercialization process, and time-to-launch. Work closely with Master Black Belt to deploy Six Sigma across all business functions; work with process owners to translate functional goals into Six Sigma strategies/projects, and quantifiable results. Manage project development and selection, development of project plans, and metrics identification; follow toll gate reviews; maintain project database and reporting systems. Coach, train, and develop Green Belts, Champions, and executives in Six Sigma methodology. Provide expert guidance to multiple Six Sigma project teams/Green Belts. Lead and execute Six Sigma projects as assigned and/or identified. Demonstrate thought leadership in continuous improvement. Utilize change management to drive results. Performance will be measured on: Achievement of BB Certification Successful completion of 2 BB projects Total savings as verified by Finance
EXPERIENCE
REQUIRED: Candidates are not required to have Six Sigma Certification. Our Client will provide training for Black Belt certification during employment. Minimum 7 years Chemical industry experience/background a must. Value chain analysis and pricing experience (transactional and value based) required. Market development experience for B2B customers required. Capability to make data based decisions and achieve financial results. Capability, desire and courage to learn new skills and assume broader roles in the organization. Demonstrated track record of meeting results and commitments. Strong project management, coaching/mentoring, with quantifiable growth/process/operational improvements. Demonstrated ability to effectively present information and transfer knowledge, engage a student audience, and foster an enthusiastic learning environment. Highly effective relationship management skills required. Ability to work across all levels to influence key stakeholders. Demonstrated experience in successfully managing multiple quality/process improvement projects across different functions. 7 years experience with at least 2 years in a product, process or project leadership role. 5 yrs experience in a marketing or sales environment. Strong analytic and problem-solving skills; the ability to recommend alternative solutions and translate complex concepts into simplified and understandable examples.
EXPERIENCE HELPFUL: Green Belt certification a plus. Ideal prior experience as a Product or Marketing Manager Excellent written communication skills required. Ability to deal with ambiguityPERSONAL
