Department: MarketingJob Summary:
Maintains a positive company image by providing sign support for store. Supports the Marketing Team Leader and Regional Coordinator in maintaining regional standards. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, maintaining in-store communications, both computer generated and hand drawn, including flyers, shelf signs, chalkboards, and calendars.
REQUIREMENTS
Duties and Responsibilities:
Creates consistent computer-generated and hand drawn graphics throughout the store including case and shelf signs, flyers, calendars, and window posters.
Creates colorful, artistic, eye-catching chalkboards.
Works with Regional and Store Marketing Team, Team Leaders, SSI, and Store Team Leaders to ensure production of all store signs, including all product signs.
Assists with Regional sign and poster projects.
Complies with all applicable health, sanitation and safe work practices.
Answers department calls and pages quickly and with excellent phone etiquette.
Performs other duties as assigned by the Marketing Team Leader or Store Team Leaders.Requirements:
Experience in using Macintosh and Windows.
Excellent knowledge of Filemaker, Pagemaker, Quark, Excel, and /or Word software.
Strong artistic and creative skills, ability to be precise and render attractive signage.
Superior spelling skills, and ability to perform simple math operations.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with others.
Ability to understand and complete departmental transfers.
Must be 18 years or older and work up to a maximum of 8-10 hours per day.
Ability to stand and walk for up to 4 hours without a break.
Ability to bend and stoop to grasp objects, climb ladders, lift loads, up to 50 lbs. unassisted, push and pull carts weighing up to 100 lbs. unassisted.
Ability to visually examine products for quality and signage/labeling for accuracy.
Able to work a variety of shifts including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
Willingness to provide exemplary customer service consistently.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
A desire to learn about natural and organic foods and products.
