Managing Editor Company Intranet - Short Term PositionShort-Term (4 months) Internal Communication position available as Managing Editor of Company Intranet.Reporting to the Director, Organization Communications, you will manage the editorial content for Campbell Soup Company's Corporate Intranet - Campbell Today - write/design its content, plan the editorial calendar, and assign stories to the internal team and freelancers as needed. We will rely on you to ensure the focus is on same-day or next-day news and global stories, develop new columns and new story ideas, manage corporate portal capabilities and act as the key liaison to IT regarding Campbell Today portal issues. You will be expected to develop ways to market Campbell Today to Campbell employees, improve readership levels, and broaden the reach of company-related news. Additionally, you will be relied upon for your strategic outlook, and offering your perspective on various aspects of employee communications.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
College degree, English or Journalism major preferred
8-10 years' prior writing experience, including experience in employee communications; newspaper experience preferred
