Senior Product Manager (Group Leader)

Our client is a sizable division of a multibillion international manufacturer.
They are seeking an exceptional product management professional to lead the function.
The new group leader will lead the planning and execution of product management strategies for the business. A small team of product managers will report directly. Product line rationalization, new product development, strategic planning, branding, pricing, market research and sales support are all key areas of responsibility.
The leadership ranks are populated by executives with blue chip backgrounds; our ideal candidate will have been successful in a large, fast-paced environment.
REQUIREMENTS

7-10 or more years of experience in marketing and product management for commercial and/or industrial product lines.
Product marketing leadership for product lines with revenues in excess of $100 million.
Bachelor's degree. MBA preferred.
Significant work leading marketing strategy development.
Heavy new product development experience using a stage-gate process.
Strong exposure to ROI analysis and product line rationalization.
Process orientation; experience using Six Sigma methodologies.
Highly promotable; willing to relocate...job is not in IL (full corporate relo)
