Senior Marketing Analyst

The Senior Marketing Analyst will perform complex analytics needed to support the marketing's management of the generic business. Responsible for utilizing secondary and primary market research to clearly understand market dynamics and issues for key products, potential licensing candidates, new products and technologies. Responsible for making recommendations for strategies and tactics geared toward maximizing sales revenue for both new and existing products.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Serves as the primary source for all marketing databases. Becomes the "go to" person for IMS , First Data Bank, and companies internal databases such as TM1.
* Serves as the liaison between Marketing and Production Planning.
* Collects key secondary data to support new product launches.
* Works with National Accounts Administration and the field to optimize product movement through wholesalers.
* Works with sales to understand potential market opportunities.
* Communicates product updates such as packaging and WAC price changes to Sales, Sales Operations and National Accounts Administration.
* Using the market research information, provides guidance to the marketing team to aid in developing sales and marketing tools with measurable impact.
* Creates and distributes monthly sales reports to key products.
REQUIREMENTS
* Bachelor's degree required.
* Must be able to successfully facilitate and complete projects in a "dotted line" environment.
* Must be analytical, have excellent organization skills, with the ability to prioritize projects.
* 5-6 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry in multiple operations functions desirable.
* A general understanding of pharmaceutical development, manufacturing, distribution and regulatory processes desirable.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
* Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook required. Knowledge of PowerPoint is a plus.
