Senior Director, Member Marketing

RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead the development and delivery of integrated marketing strategies and plans as the marketing consultant of Visa for the largest Member Banks. Provide marketing consulting to the assigned Members that encompasses all Visa credit products and services. Foster strong working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, and serve as the primary strategic marketing partner, providing day-to-day integration and coordination of programs. Prioritize projects and assure the judicious use of resources. Work on budgeting, planning and financial strategy including project return on investment. Develop strategic briefs and assemble and lead integrated work teams. Secondary job responsibilities: Monitors competitive developments and best-in-class solutions to ensure their consistent and effective use in meeting both Visa and Member Bank business objectives.

REQUIREMENTS: A minimum of 8-10 years of progressive marketing experience with leading consumer brand products in corporate or agency/consulting environments. Financial Services, especially Card Marketing, experience a plus. Must have extensive experience leading the development and delivery of effective consumer marketing strategies and programs, and must demonstrate strong strategic leadership, communication and relationship skills. Must be able to project an image of the organization that enhances the professional credibility of marketing and is actively valued and sought out as a representative of the organization. Demonstrated experience in developing distinctive strategies to achieve competitive advantage; translate broad strategies into specific objectives and action plans; help align the organization to support strategic priorities. Demonstrated experience promoting ideas and proposals persuasively; shaping stakeholder opinions; projecting a positive image; working through conflicts to negotiate win.
