Sales Account Manager

We are the pioneer of relationship-based email marketing and a leading interactive agency, is seeking talented Account Managers to service our expanding roster of strategic clients

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
•Under the direction of a senior staff member, an Account Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operation of his/her accounts, making sure the account is running smoothly and profitably. Ultimately, you will be accountable to deliver email-marketing and other online marketing programs that meet business needs.
•As an Account Manager, you are required to manage successful relationships with strategic clients. You will work in a consultative fashion to provide strategic and tactical program guidance. The person in this position must know the client’s business intimately and be an effective spokesperson for the client within the agency; representing the client’s point of view and concerns.
•To be successful, the Account Manger must be able to manage a team against immediate short-term projects and/or campaigns, with an understanding of long-term planning requirements and growth of the business. You will participate in regular internal and external account reviews and your advisory work will be informed by robust qualitative and quantitative analysis and communicated through meetings and formal presentations.
REQUIREMENTS
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
•3+ years of applicable work experience (direct marketing, database marketing, interactive marketing, marketing consulting, or advertising) with a background in either an agency or client facing environment
•Thorough understanding of and/or interest in online marketing
•Sound knowledge of: MSOffice, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
•Strong data gathering, storytelling, and analytical skills
•Polished verbal, written communication and presentation skills, with both internal colleagues and external clients
•Extremely proactive, highly organized, with ability to manage multiple tasks
•Ability to prioritize and focus, with strict attention to detail
•Technically literate and comfortable working with Internet technologies, and desire to build technical knowledge
